Porsche Vehicle Care
Porsche Vehicle Maintenance Tips: Ensure Optimal Performance and Avoid Emergency Assistance. Our authorized Porsche dealers are dedicated to caring for your exceptional vehicle. Follow your vehicle’s regular maintenance schedule, keep the battery charged during periods of inactivity, and regularly check tire pressure to prevent the need for Porsche Roadside Assistance.
Schedule ServiceEmergency Towing
If your Porsche vehicle experiences a warrantable mechanical breakdown leading to disablement, it will be transported to the nearest authorized Porsche dealership. You have the option to request delivery to a different authorized Porsche dealership within a 50-mile radius of the nearest Porsche dealership. Please note that for security reasons, towing services require the presence of a licensed driver at the scene. In the event of a breakdown after normal business hours, and if the servicing Porsche dealership lacks a secure storage lot, your Porsche will be securely stored and transported to the dealership on the next business day.

Collision
If your Porsche vehicle incurs body damage, it's crucial to promptly inform your insurance company and emphasize that the repairs are most effectively carried out by a Porsche Approved Collision Center (PACC).

What happens if my car breaks down or runs out of charge?
In case of a suspected mechanical issue, your vehicle will be towed to the nearest authorized Porsche dealership, as outlined in the towing parameters specified under Emergency Towing. If no mechanical problems are found, and your vehicle is out of charge, we'll collaborate with you to identify a convenient charging location and arrange for your vehicle to be towed within a 50-mile radius.
What options do I have if I experience a tire issue with my Porsche and am located more than 100 miles from the nearest authorized dealership?
The Porsche Roadside Assistance professionals will guide you in choosing the best servicing option for your needs. If a tire event occurs beyond 100 miles from the nearest authorized Porsche dealership, our experts are prepared to help you purchase the appropriate replacement tire. This ensures that your vehicle can be transported to a preferred tire installer in your area. While the costs associated with the tire are your responsibility, Porsche Roadside Assistance will cover expenses related to the tow.
What should I do if my Porsche won’t start due to a weak battery?
If your Porsche experiences difficulty starting due to a weak battery, Porsche Roadside Assistance will dispatch an authorized service provider to "jump start" your vehicle. However, if your vehicle is not driven daily or hasn't been started for more than six weeks, the battery may require replacement, and this may not be covered by Porsche's limited warranty. Porsche Roadside Assistance can coordinate transportation to an authorized Porsche dealer for battery service, but the associated expenses will be your responsibility. If the dealer determines that the battery failure is due to a warrantable issue, the tow expenses will be reimbursed by the authorized Porsche dealer. It's important to note that proper battery maintenance involves regular vehicle operation to keep the battery charged or utilizing a Porsche Battery Charger/Maintainer.
